When I install Flight Simulator X i can only play once it makes me unstall and install to play again?

When I install Flight Simulator X it doesnt install a shortcut. When i close out fsx I cant open it back up. It says its installed under my control panel. Im running windows vista home premium. My base score is 4.7. What could be the problem? please help.
