Yahoo mail not receiving mail?

I am expecting emails from people and I don't believe they havent sent them so I thought I'd try emailing myself from a different account to check and the emails aren't arriving. Anyone else had this problem? Or know how to fix it? I have tried logging on on my iPod and my laptop and neither are working ...
