How do i run FSX in compatibility mode on Windows 7?

I keep getting fatal error messages every time i load a flight so i want to run flight sim on XP, i tried right clicking on FSX and using properties but their is no compatibility mode tab..... how can u run in compatibility mode.... PLEASE HELP
