Are Sterling Silver Studs Good Earrings for the First Time I Change my Earrings?

I really want to change my ear lobe earrings to Sterling Silver Studs, and there is no sign of infection in my ears, but I am scared if these are good quality earring studs to wear for the first time I change my ear piercing!
